Local lighting is a kind of lamps and lanterns to improve the illumination of a certain working part. Its role can be on the basis of general lighting to strengthen, supplementary lighting, also can be in some usually do not need lighting places (such as equipment maintenance, maintenance places) as temporary lighting. For the most part, their light distribution is not strictly regulated. Local floodlight is installed normally near working area, with use safety especially low voltage (≤50V, exchange effective value) incandescent lamp, halogen tungsten lamp is illuminant. There are (portable) running lamp, hanging lamp, working lamp, machine tool working lamp, etc. In some tall plants, sometimes also use the projection lamp for local lighting.
In order to meet the visual needs of different production operations and the requirements of lamp installation conditions, the reflector of industrial and mining lamp should be able to produce light distribution of various widths and narrow degrees. The surface is painted, glazed to make it white, and the reflector made of aluminum, glass mirror, prism glass and other materials, can get a wide light distribution, suitable for large areas, vertical or nearly vertical working surface workplace. For tall factories and places with tall machine tools that need separate lighting, reflectors made of prism glass, mirror glass and polished aluminum with strong light control performance can be used to obtain narrow beam distribution.
In order to be able to dust, damp and other poor environmental conditions in the long term, reliable work, industrial and mining lamp in the structural design, shell and reflector have special requirements. Closed lamps or countercurrent lamps with upward light pass should be used in dusty environment; In humid environment, attention should be paid to the sealing of the shell and the surface treatment of the reflector; General indoor commonly used open lamps, the use of enamel surface reflector, surface aluminum oxide film layer thick or coated with silicon dioxide protective film aluminum reflector; Considering the inevitable vibration in the production site, the fixed light source should be anti-loose lamp holder, etc.
There are many ways to fix the lamp. General lighting has suction top, embedding, hoisting (using straight pipe or chain) and the form such as suction wall. Removable local lighting is equipped with corresponding hooks, handles, clamps, etc. Fixed local floodlight is locked firmly with screw or fixed mechanism commonly on working machine.
