The importance of safe wiring of LED explosion-proof lights

Time:2022-04-27 Views:0

LED explosion-proof light is a kind of explosion-proof light. Its principle is the same as that of explosion-proof light, except that the light source is LED light source. various specific approaches to lamps. LED explosion-proof lamps are the most energy-efficient explosion-proof lamps and are widely used in oil fields, power plants, chemical plants, oil, and troops.

1. Orientation selection

The circuit should be placed in a place where the risk of blasting is relatively small or away from the source of ignition.

2. Selection of laying methods

The blasting risk environment circuit is mainly explosion-proof steel pipe wiring and cable wiring.

3. Barrier sealing

Circuit and maintenance pipes, cables or layers of steel pipes should be tightly blocked with non-combustible materials when passing through partitions or slabs between blast risk areas of different levels.

4. Selection of wire material

Blasting risk environmental risk level 1 The area within the distribution line should use copper wire or cable. In the case of severe vibration, multi-strand copper cables or multi-strand copper wires should be used. Aluminum core power cables shall not be used in underground coal mines.

Blasting risk environmental risk level 2 is within this range, the power line should be made of aluminum wire or cable with a cross-sectional area of 4mm2 or more, and the cross-sectional area of the lighting line should be 2.5mm2. and above the aluminum core wire or cable.

5. Allowed carrying capacity

In Zone 1 and Zone 2, the section of the insulated wire and the section of the cable are selected, and the allowed carrying capacity of the conductor should not be less than 1.25 times the rated current of the fuse and the set current of the long-time overcurrent release of the circuit breaker. The allowable current carrying capacity of the branch line of the low-voltage cage asynchronous motor should not be less than 1.25 times the rated current of the motor.

6. Connection of electrical lines

The central connection of Zone 1 and Zone 2 circuits must be adjacent to an explosion-proof junction box or connection box compatible with the risk environment. Zone 1 should choose a fire junction box, and Zone 2 can be used to add a type of junction box.

If the circuit of zone 2 is to choose aluminum core cable or wire, it must be reliable to facilitate the installation and maintenance of the user.
