What are the explosion-proof types of explosion-proof lamps

Time:2023-09-25 Views:0

Explosion-proof lamps are a type of explosion-proof electrical appliance, referring to lighting fixtures with explosion-proof functions. There are many explosion-proof types of explosion-proof lamps, which can be mainly divided into the following five types:

1. Flameproof type

This explosion-proof lamp can completely seal equipment that may ignite hazardous gases or dust, as well as flammable and explosive materials, inside the shell of the explosion-proof lamp. At the same time, the shell of the explosion-proof lamp can withstand the penetration of hazardous gases or dust into the shell without damage or explosion, and will not cause any external danger.

2. Increased safety type

It enhances the explosion-proof safety of the explosion-proof lamp from its own equipment, such as sealing the connection of the lamp housing, temperature control of the explosion-proof lamp, high-quality insulation materials on the housing, and multiple methods such as not generating electric spark ignition under normal use conditions to achieve explosion-proof effect.

3. Dust type

In some special production places, dust clouds or mist may be generated during production. When the dust concentration reaches a certain level of danger, dust type explosion-proof lamps must be used in such environments. These explosion-proof lamps can completely isolate dust from the outside of the explosion-proof lamp, so that the electric arc or telephone flower of the product inside the lamp cannot come into contact with external dust, thus isolating the danger.

4. Sparkless type

This type of lamp refers to a lamp that does not generate electric sparks under normal working conditions, and directly eliminates the occurrence of danger from the source of the working principle of explosion-proof lamps.

5. Barotropic type

It refers to filling high-pressure gas into the interior of a lamp, so that the internal pressure is higher than the external pressure, and external gas cannot enter the interior of the lamp, thereby playing an explosion-proof role.
